DMS Error

Hi

Had anyone ever come across DMS-E-SS_INCONS_Logical error in Impromptu. It happened when the database I am connecting to was updated, it appears to have solved itself in all but one report.

Wondering firstly why it fixed itself and why if happened!

The error refers to a logical inconsistency. This is usually caused by different datatypes involved in a join (sometimes at a very tiny level i.e. number = number(10)). The other cause can be setups in the ODBC driver, if one is in use. Post more info about your environment so we can help isolate the error.
