Yes, you have to check your impfunct.ini, cer3.ini, cognos.ini, and impromptu.ini files for any different needs for the decode for oracle that it needs. We have had a couple of different changes with these. See knowledgebase. There is sometimes an extra line regarding the decode under the [Query Options] that has to be added to use oracle decode correctly. We were able to remove ours, maybe this is it:
