Hi,

Has anyone ever followed the rules, namely:
1) Don't apply the extracted data through the OAM.
2) Met the prerequisite system update levels on the 4.0 & 450 for DMM (Data Migration Manager)? I applied the latest service update on both.
3) Ensured at least one Unified Messaging license on the 4.0?
4) Ensured sufficient mailbox licenses on the 450......
and still ended up with no mailbox messages on the 450??
?

To be clear, the mailbox greetings are carried over, however the actual mailbox messages are missing (from my observations).

It seems there is a pattern developing, that DMM just fails to carry over the mailbox messages.

What are your experiences? Has anyone carried over mailbox messages successfully, or is everyone having this problem?

I believe the migration tool only copies and transfers the configuration which doesn't include msgs.

It is supposed to carry over the messages. Thats why the UM keycode is needed. I have done 2 upgrades from 400 to 450 using DMM, and 1 moved the messages. I've given up on DMM and just reprogram. Maybe I'll try another now that 6.0 is here.

I too have given up on DMM when the original BCM is a 3.x. I might try again if I have straight 4.0 to 450 upgrade. Thanks.
