Have a customer who currently has a BCM200 running 3.6 s/w with a 30 channel PRI and a DSM32+.

They are looking at upgrading to v4 and implementing a DMC321 with 13 handsets. They also wish to have 1 x T7316E for reception and 3 ATA's for modems, faxes etc.

Would it be acceptable to utilise the second 16 ports on the DSM32+ for the DMC, therefore only connecting 1 amphenol between the BCM and DMC?

Or would they have to upgrade to a BCM400 with an additional dsm16+ to compensate?

All thoughts greatly appreciated.

You can use even 1 digital port ...thats not an issue
3.7 is the minimum release where DMC was supported
