DMC factory defaults

Hi,

I'm looking for a way to reset the DMC to it's factory defaults. The problem I have concerns the antennas and loss of signal by the 7440 phones.

I'm using a Mics version DR 7.1 and a DMC 080. When I register the 7440 phones, all goes fine until I try to start a communication. The little handset icon appears at the bottom right corner of the screen, and then I lose my signal icon and the handset icon. After a few seconds, the signal icon comes back. This happens everytime a communication is attempted, from the 7440 or another phone trying to call the 7440. When a regular digital phone tries to call, I see nothing on the 7440 and I lose the signal icon.

The system is set up with only one antenna. When I monitor the signal received by the 7440 using *99989*, it shows in the "alternate" antenna position (bottom line) and nothing shows up in the main section of the monitoring window. I tried switching the position of the antenna (from 00 to 01) and the same problem occurs.

I'm really stuck deep on this one, any help would be welcome.

Thank you

Did you run a Cable Delay Measurement? That must be done before you try to commmunicate with the DMC

What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger.

Yes the delay has been measured at several occasions without anymore success. Since this is a lab test, I used short cords of about 1m long, resulting in delays of 0 ticks with the antenna in both position 00 and 01.

Thanks for the help, but that doesn't solve it...
