Hi!

I have a DECT DMC-8 card with unknown IP-address configured. How do I find the specefic IP-address or reset it to default?

Thanks in advance!

Best regards

i am not sure about this, but when i installed my dmc 8 card, i used the dect manager connected to serial com.

i did not see any ip address.

The DMC 8 card is configured with a default IP-address from factory. When using OTM, connecting to different sites with DMC 8 card, we need to have different IP-addresses on cards. Problem is that I have a DMC 8 card with unknown address, and documentation does only explain how to change the IP-address using telnet, not to reset or print the IP-address without using telnet.

my apologies, i am talking about the old dmc 8 card.

when you reset the "new" dmc 8 card, it should default back to 192.168.1.1

how to reset was not mention on the ntp, try disable the card and unseat it, then put it back on, see if that defaults the ip address.

cheers.

You need to retrieve the IP address via a serial rs232 connection, which is obtained by the use of the card's TJF / Krone connection strip. You would then talk to the DECT via OTM & select the serial port option.

All the best
