DMA0007- following data providers were not refreshed

I am getting this message after trying to refresh a report (only few records to be display) after some time I get the DMA0007- following data providers were not refreshed message( we are using Oracle btw) and the user have not stop the refresh. Any ideas why this can be happening. Maybe something in the DB side????

Looks like the connection could be killed from the database side. Did you check with the DBA?
