Hello,
I am currently running 3.6.2. I have an EP on NT4, with version # 56.
I need to monitor the size of a file, to alert whenever it exceeds 20GB.
I've configured DM , using Universal Collections/Monitor:FileSize (with a -c for size units) to fire whenever it is Greater than (20x1024x1024x1024)21474836480 Bytes. I saved it, & distributed to it. Here comes the interesting bit.
When I do a wlseng, The Value is 135274496( which is about 129MB), when (both in dos and windows GUI) the file is about 8.5 GB in size.
Why & how is this so?
I took the DM Collection Reference book, and dug in, and I read that this monitors the bytes IN a file. Eh? What does the book mean IN a file? Also, if this is the wrong collection, then what should I be using?
Thanks. Your help is most appreciated.
