I have recently purchased a new backup device to replace my current system. The only problem is that the tapes used previously with my DLT7000 cannot be read by my HP1016 autoloader alyhough I am using the same software etc.
Doe's anybody no why?
I have tried reformatting, long erase's and even erasing them magnetically (although it is thought that the device might not of been strong enough).
