Hi
I have a Quantum DLT7000 35/70 drive installed on a Windows XP Pro computer. The device manage shows it working properly and I have installed the latest driver from Quantum. I am able to use windows backup to store and recover files but that is it. I can not get the compression to work although Windows Device Manager says it is true. The drive does NOT show up in the Windows Explorer tree and no other backup software can seem to find it. What am I doing wrong? I would be grateful for any help anyone can offer.

Best Regards
Randy

Some of the other backup software requires you to go into the device manager and disable the unit. This will allow their software drivers to be used.
