DLs / User Template w/ Email

Hello everyone...
We have LOTS of User Templates that are also on various Distribution Lists... The problem is that when someone either

1) looks at the DL; or
2) Emails the DL

They see the "UT_NAME"... They also get a bounceback...

Does anyone know how to hide these User Templates from a DL? It's causing confusion, bouncebacks, etc..

Hide the templates from the GAL
