I'm working on splitting a database. Unfortunately the DB split wizard never worked so I split it the manual way. All is well.

The problem is when I put a password on the backend (Tools > Security > Set Database Password), now when I open the front end, everytime I utilize a dlookup, I get an "invalid password error".

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Andrew

You have asked this question elsewhere to. Afraid to be un noticed?

Thank you easyit. I did post this twice. The first time in the Other Topics forum, then here. I did this because the reason I know it is the DLookup that is causing the problem is because the first DLookup is in code and the debug highlighted that line.

I figured I might get different responses in this forum.

Actualy, I did. Thanks. For anyone else having the problem:
1. Delete passwords on both ends
2. Delete the links
3. Set the password on the back end
4. Redo the links
5. Set password on front end

I guess when the link information is stored, poassword information is also stored?
