DLO Storage Option

Hey Guys,

I have a DLO question for you:

Im trying to use a network share to store the DLO backup files for users. The network share resides on a NetApp FAS270 (NAS device). However when i try to specify this a share on this NAS device DLO asks for a computer name & path. I can enter in the computer name but the path will not accept anything if it does not contain a drive letter.

ie:

Computer Name = FAS270
Path = \\fas270\DLO or \DLO

but DLO wants something like: Path=c:\DLO

Does this mean that the DLO Storage location MUST be on a WINDOWS machine?????

You are correct. I tried using a Snap server to perform the DLO backups to no avail. Found that Windows OS had to be present (some Linux/UNIX will work, but since we're a pure Windows shop I didn't pursue this).
