DLM on vmcd

I am setting up a vMCD as the primary system but also the dlm for the group. i have setup the dlm in AMC ok, and have also setup the system in amc and added that to the GARID, but under application group licensing on the system when i set it to yes and put in the number it does not allow me it says the following

Unable to set up the connection to the AMC (error 79). Error details can be found in the Software Logs

and in the software logs i cannot find anything which gives me the clues. the system can connect to AMC ok, and i have set systems up within a DLM before but never a vMCD.

can anybody help

what software level , it was only supported on more recent versions

the vMCD is on 7.2

so you have already created the SDS network ,the systems are clustered and able to share between them ?
