I am keeping an eye on the task manager and researching any thing that looks a bit dodgy for security as a whole.
I noticed a process dllhost.exe and looked it up on the internet. Some say it is part of the OS, others say it is part of IIS.
I run IIS for testing ASP, and I have been informed this can be a potential backdoor for hackers, so I am a little bit concerned.
What concerns me is that under Username in task manager is: IWAM_YOUR_D0......
It is different to all the others and looks a bit suspect.
I do use Internet Security and Webroots Spysweeper 4.0.3, but sometimes new threats are not picked up I am told.
Can someone put my mind at rest?
Secondly, how do you find out what a process location is in task manager? So, for example, if I wanted to see if dllhost was running from where it should be.
Cheers,
Trufla
