DllHost.exe starts up with Internet Explorer each time (it doesn't start with MSN explorer for some reason...) and when I go to sites with fancy flash content, my CPU usage jumps to 100%. If I CTRL+DELETE and kill DllHost.exe in the services tab, the lagging on the flash sites stops. However, it will still lag my mouse if I mouse over links with fancy effects on them, like the ones at webelements.com (I chose this site because it has lots of those links with the background changing colour behind them).

Anyone experienced this before? I'm going to format if I can't fix this.

I did that already :'( I even converted it back to the the default windows config or whatever the other option is and reinstalled. I don't know what's going on, but it's really annoying me :(

No KB articles, either.

I'm pretty sure it's not DllHost.exe causing the problems ;)

It might be Norton Antivirus since it has some stupid bar added to my explorer...

But anyway... my email is aaron@aaron-wright.com

I will send it to u ,,
But also , you may remove Norton for another trial ! Eng.Mohamed Farid

Yeah, I'll try that this weekend if your replacement one doesn't work (I'm 99.9% convinced that it won't work ;))

But I think it may be Norton, since I have no recolection of this odd behaviour BEFORE I installed NAV 2002. I may have to downgrade :( But hey, not all bad if my system isn't lagged.
