Dll to turn off monitor

Hello all

Does anybody know of a dll that can turn of monitors, I.E The same a pushing the power button off?

FYI I don't need to send the monitor to sleep, Physically switching it off is what I'm after.

Physically turning a monitor off is a physical/mechanical action, i.e., not something you can do in software.

i don't think vbscript supports api functions. some components, you can call (control panel, power options, internet options), others not.
