We've got a DLL running on our Win 2000 server. Essentially it's a tweaked version of another DLL running on our server.
ASP is talking to the DLL and doing all kinds of fab things.
Odd thing is though, for some reason the DLL returns errors. Fair enough, but it's coming from function calls never made.
One page inparticular, makes a call to a function, and response.write 's the results. The page aborts because a call to another unrelated function has failed.
This other function is not called from within the original function, and is only called from an ASP page which is NOT an include in any page. I am at a loss to work out what made a call to the failed function.
Other examples of 'odd' behaivour were the DLL returning a 53 - file not found error every third execution of ANY function, despite the fact the paths provided were indeed valid.
Hitting F5 (no request to resubmit info) makes the page load fine, with no errors.
Does anyone know of any reason why this is happening ?
