dll problem

I am trying to install sqlexpress keep getting advpack.dll
error. The one on my system is less bytes than the one I downloaded. Everytime I try to delete and copy the new one into the winnt/system32 it automatically replaces itself is there a way to replace the old advpack.dll with the new one?
