Hi

I have created a DLL on a shared drive and I also have created a VB6 program. I want to distribute my program to use the DLL, but when i use the Wizard, it copies my shared DLL to it local "System32" folder.

How can i make my VB program use my DLL and and not overwrite the present DLL

Cheers

In the package and deploy wizard you can change the destination directory of any file.

If you actually wan't to use the DLL from the shared drive then I suppose you could declare the functions from it using the declare statement??
