I have had problems with some of my open form buttons.

"OPEN FORM" - "open form with specific data in it".
This built in function has no callout in the code for a DLL that I can see.

When you click the button you get an error that says: Access cannot find a DLL file!

Some buttons doing the same function work fine and others don't.

These buttons will work fine sometimes and not work others.

This database was upgraded through Access2,95,97.

These problems started when we had a network failure.

MS Office and Windows have all been reloaded.

Could it be that the network is overloaded and it’s not finding the DLL in time?

Thanks in advance, Blake

Access is calling something that either is not on that PC or is not there anymore or something.
So jot down the exact . DLL error name like "ctrl3d.dll" or what ever it is.
Open a the form in design view and open the VBA code window
Then click "Edit" menu then "Find" and see if it will find that code (.DLL name)
Keep looking its probably some where.
You may have had a button or something that you deleted along the way.
Or tell us what the. DLL is. There are only some 2000 of them on your PC so we have no idea which one it is.

DougP
dposton@universal1.com

Ask me how Bar-codes can help you be more productive.
