DLL and REG file Helper

Built up a small tool to help others with some of the issues i've had in the past, like developing a COM component or other DLL and having to constantly re-register it with regsvr32, or having some sample data reg files that populate your registry, but no "uninstall" tool to get the stuff back out other than hunting for all the keys, or sitting for a while editing the reg file.

small handful of tools in a zip pack, designed for winNT based platforms, with a few pajth modifications on the init REG file, will work on win95/98.

For us DLL and Component makers, This Package includes a Right-click
context registry update to register and unregister DLL files, and
also adding a right click context for adding .REG files to registry.
Also a script that will generate a reversal .REG file for removing inserted .REG data.

Use with caution, all registry data in origin .REG will get killed when using
the generated removal.REG, including values(registry folderS), keys, values and data.
Word to the wise: Edit the removal File beforehand to ensure no unwanted
tree deletions are remedied.


Installation Instructions:
RegSvr32 DLL File Reg-UnReg.reg :can be run from within this Zip archive adding the context menus.
MAY REQUIRE EDITING FOR NON NT-CLASS WINDOWS OS's

RegSvr32 DLL File Reg-UnReg REMOVER.reg :removes all non-default windows settings in above added .REG.

RegEntryStrip.vbs :VBS Script for creating .REG files for removing .REG data for any
.REG source file. Also Will generate a registry backup of the
first Tree(key) entry in origin file. Extract to System32 Folder.

Known Bugs: (03-06-06)
RegEntryStrip.vbs - Has handling issues with UNICODE and UTF-8 Text File Formats, resolved by editing .REG file and
resaving as ANSI format. output is easily identified in the generated .REG file not containing keys, and values
have spaces between all letters
