DLL and LIB question

Hello
I have an application that have several DLLs and it was working fine.
Recently I had to do some changes, after the compilation the new .DLL was updated but the .LIB file remained in the same old date.
I deleted the .LIB file and recompiled the APP but the .LIB was not created and no error message came.
I didnt change any thing in the definations.
Iam using Clarion 6.3
