How can I set the DI524 to use my Desktop firewall..
I have to disable my firewall to run certain online tests and get to some sites also with my firewall disabled GRC still reports all stealth
I just want my desktop firewall to be in charge not the router

For what it is worth... I use my Netgear RT-314 router firewall and do not use any software firewalls. I have anti-virus software running on my five PCs and have not had any viruses or hacker attacks getting through for over five years.

looking at the manual u need to access the DI524 and disable all the settings... "there is no way however to tell the DI524 to use your desktop firewall..."

i realise that u wish to set up as your prefere but i think i would use both firewalls for added protection the more you have the better!!! however i have a isa2004 with no other settings, its simply what you prefere!!

good luck

The most overlooked advantage to owning a computer is that if they foul up there's no law against wacking them around a little.
