There is not a fixed number. It depends on how many "virtual circuits" are built through the T1. If you have yourself and one remote site, you will use 2 DLCI's, one for each end. If you are the central site and have 5 remote sites, you will need 10 DLCI's (unless you use global addressing in which case 6).<br>
