DLC Message Status Button

Anyone know why the message status button on the 4450 DSS would be flashing?
If you push the message status button it stops flashing, turns on solid. But if you push it again it goes back to flashing.
I have looked through some documentation and it says nothing about a flashing status on that button. Only if it's on or off.

I suppose that you looked at the DLC guide and Understanding Your DSS. It would appear that you may have an issue with one of the extensions that are being displayed. Does the conditions still exist when you use the page buttons to display other ranges of extensions?

You may want to review the messaging section in the DLC guide to see if perhaps a message for the extension is causing the flashing.

Well, I've looked at the documentation and havn't found anything that discusses a flashing message status button.

Check the feature reference, under "Extension Status". There are different meanings depending on if you are in Hotel mode, or Calling Group Supervisor mode.
