DL380G4 issues with Windows 2003 SP1

Has anyone successfully installed Windows 2003 SP1 on any Proliant system???

I have had mixed results on identical hardware by following this procedure

- Install Windows 2003 Enterprise
- Install 2003 SP1 (dont reboot)
- Install HP Support pack 7.20A (reboot)

On a reboot, the screen goes blank after the Windows 2003 logo is displayed. I can remote control into it, there are no noticible errors. If I reboot, subsequent logons remotely fail, console is blank

Anyone had such an issue??
I called HP, still waiting for them to get back to me..

Yep, i do have the same thing om my proliant DL360 G4.
Seem like it loses it's terminalserver functions after a reboot.
When i do a un-install of SP1 everything is back to normal.
Hm, think i'm going to contact HP to.

I ended up sorting it out...

Install SP1. DONT REBOOT
Install HP Support sw 7.30A - REBOOT

All works OK...

So what you are saying is, it didn't work for you, but after you installed HP Support sw 7.30A it worked fine ?
