DL380 G6

So I have a DL380 G6.

When racking this we accidentally mixed registered with unbuffered memory. According to the white sheets this just ends up with the behavior we experiences where the system health LED blinks red and all the DIMMs are amber.

However any subsequent boot gives me the a green system health LED with both proc 1 and proc 2 lights amber. The system fans sit at full throttle and there is no post. No matter if I switch out the processors/memory/etc...

I'm at a loss... We've repeated the outcome on two servers now.

Have you tried resetting the system from the jumpers on the system board (nvram and CMOS)? I believe it's #6.
