Divs growing together 1

How can I have 2 divs side by side that will maintain the same height as each other (like two columns do in a table)

Short answer is you can't. Each Div will independently grow with their content.

Long answer you can fake it using what's known as Faux columns.

In reality the shorter column is still shorter, except the background makes it impossible to tell.
