I have a 2-year sales report (YTD and MTD) that I need some help with. It shows the profit % for the grand totals which appear at the top of the report but it will not show the profit % for the detail. Every time I try to create a formula I get "Division by Zero" error message. Can someone help me so that the profit % prints for each column. I have attached a copy of the report for viewing.

Without seeing the formula that you are using to calculate the percentage I can't be precise but in general terms the approach is to use "If-Then-Else" to test for a denominator of zero. If you require more specific assistance please post the formula you are using.

Cheers

Pete:

thanks for your suggestion. I tried that and it worked flawlessly.
