I have a client who has a database with large numbers, up to 100 billion - and desires reports rounded to the nearest million.

This report is sorted by agents and datafields are listed in the detail section of the report in billions - where they want to round by millions, divide by 1000, or multiply by .001. I've tried everything, even some examples shown in books and only get a "#Error".

Any suggestions, recommendations, or work arounds would be appreciated,

JWJ

OTTOMH, when you do the calculation, are you renaming your textbox? For example, if you have a textbox called LargeNumber, the control source is probably LargeNumber, since that is the way Access works.

If you change the control source to be LargeNumber/1000, without renaming the textbox, you sort of get into an infinite loop. Try renaming the textbox to something like LargeNumberRounded.

Good Luck.
Kathryn
