Our customer service desk operates 24hrs, it has a basic call flow in VM Pro which transfers to a group, at night this group is set to night service which has 1 user in the group to forward the call to a mobile phone.

The problem that we have is, if the caller sends in CLI the mobile phone gets our first DDI number as the calling number which is what we want. However if the caller sends a withheld number the call transfers to the mobile phone as Withheld. The support staff want to have a CLI (Would prefer if this was not the first DDI) displayed so they can answer the call correctly. I added a shortcode to the user to send the CLI but this did not work. In shortcodes we have ? sending a specified DDI also we have LCR configured. Has any one got any ideas!!!

I think I see what you are trying to do. You want to send a specific CLI to the cell phone. This CLI will have to be one of your carrier allocated DDI/DIDs.

If for example you are forwarding to 0274545454 This is the mobile phone number then you will need to make a short code as follows

Short Code:0274545454
Telephone number:0274545454s477999999
Line group :0
Feature :Dial

The call forward feature uses the system short code so in this example when ever some one dials or forwards to 0274545454 then 477999999 is sent as CLI.

crashtest1000 I have tried what you have suggested but this did not work. When an incomming call is received as withheld it still sends withheld to the mobile phone. Not the number specified in the shortcode!!!
