One of our people asked me this question: "Is there a way to decline an incoming call with our phones, or do I just sit and listen to it ring 4 times until it goes to voicemail?" Any idea?

I'll rephrase this and ask if it is possible to press a key while the phone is ringing and send the call to the voice mailbox?

We have Nortel M2006, M2008, M2616 and 1120e/1140e phones.

THANK YOU!

The IP phones do have a feature to do this. I think it's called call deflection or something like that. The digital phones is a no go.

Thanks for the tip. I'll ask our maintenance contractor to look into the call deflection prospects.

There is a description in the feature guide, it's called Call Deflect. Looks like this feature came out in Release 7, I don't see it in the Release 6 books.
