I have a DIV tag floating layer, but when it is supposed to display over a form tag ( liek INPUT or something) the layer sits underneath the form. Do I need to manipulate the zIndex somehow? X-) Miles

This always happens - for some reason -so you may have to hide those elements.;-Q

In IE4/moz, divs can be placed above most elements, except for select boxes, and iframes before version 5(.5?). One trick is to create an iframe, which can be on top of other iframes & select boxes. You should set the zIndex of any floating item to a very high number. jared@eae.net -

But then how can it be worked around in Netscape? I had thought of that solution, but I wanted to avoid doing it. Instead I have redesigned it so that layers never overlap form elements X-) Miles
