Div doesn't follow

Don't bump your own threads. In CSS, height 100% means 100% of the parent element, if parent element has fixed height. If not, height 100% is understood as auto, which means as high as the content. You cannot make it go down with just html. You can employ a visual trick however. Wrap everything in a div and make it's background the same as the right column. That will make it appear like the right column extends to the bottom of the left one. Technique is described in A List Apart Faux Columns article.

I know it's probably not going to be much help, but I used that same technique on the site I'm currently working on, and it's great.

Take a look at my CSS for the body background property. It may be helpful to see it in use.

Thanks Vragabond, and taylorantone for inspiration :D! I'll read the article, and see what happens!

I have now used a background image sp the diw looks like it follow the rest. Please have a look But I was just wondering if it's no good to use a image instead of regular background colors?

If you use bg colors, they'll stop at the end of the content inside each div, and they won't extend down the page if one div is longer than the other. Just make your bg image really small, like 1px high and the full width of the page you need it to cover, and then just repeat-y.
