is there a file that is generated when a DL is created? is there anyway to change the settings in a particular DL?

Which smtp client are we talking about? Outlook, Thunderbird, Eudora, Outlook Express, Mail (for Macs), or any of the other plethora of mail clients out there. Need additional info to help you out.
