Distribution Lists invisible from outside our network

I would like to know if this is possible......

Can I make it impossible for anyone outside our network to send an email to any of our distribution lists? (but still be able to send emails to individuals on our network)

Remove the SMTP address for the DL. This will prevent any external users sending to it but also your own employees if they use private ISPs ouside work.
