Distribution Lists in Excahnge 2000

I'd like ot setup distribution lists where mail sent to one address will go to multiple recipients. I can figure this out on 5.5, but I can't find any instance of it in Exchange 2000.

set up a distribution group with an email address. then add all the members you'd like...

I do have the same problem. When I had Exchange 5.5 I could give a group permissions to see each others calendar. After I migrated to exchange 2000, I cannot do this. Even though the distribution group has an email address. Someone told me to try this out with a security group. But I cannot see the security group in the Global Access List to give it permission.
