anybody knows how to make a distribution list in outlook from internet email addresses? I get almost 100 email everyday from the people round the world and want to have a list of their addresses to answer them in one message.
thanks
ps: I got these emails from my exchange.

I am going to assume that you have a Contact List.

Open up outlook, and click on Contacts on the left had screen.

This will open up your contact list on the right.

In the upper left, you new button now has a contact icon rather than a mail message.

Click on the arrow after the icon, and choose Distribution List from the drop down.

This will bring up the Distribution List page.

Give your distribution list a name.

Click on Select Members.

Choose names in the left hand column, and transfer the over to the right using Add.

If you click on the arrow in the upper right, you can also choose people from your contact list to add.

After you get all the people in, click on SAVE AND CLOSE.

When you create a new email, and click on TO, you can click on the arrow in the upper right and choose Contacts from the dropdown.

Find your distribution list and add it to your TO list as
you would any other user.

Hope this helps. I have the same thing in a PDF with screen caps that weighs in at about 220 K. If you want a copy, I can e-mail it.

Hope it helps.

thanks for your info, but this would work only for AD and exchange users in your organization not for internet addresses outside which you do not see them in outlook. I tried creating these entries for internet adds but when I click "to" I don't see that distrubution list I made by those adresses just see these:
Global address list
all users
all contacts
all groups
all address list
public folder

which all are within the internal org.

OK, this is where I get in trouble.

You appear to be missing your personal contact list from the to lists. Depending on your version of Outlook, the next may or may not make sense. Try going to Tools, Services. You will see stuff like "Exchange Server" you need to have "outlook address book" or something similar. I can't find it on my Outlook XP, but it was there in 2000 and before. You may need to add it. Not the Personal Address book, but the Outlook address book. This should then add your contacts to your list.

Hope it helps.
