Distribution list in office 2003

We have windows 2000 server and windows XP pro on workstations. Workstation that are running office xp show my distrubution groups under Global address list. but in outlook 2003 we cannot select the group from the global address list we have to go to all groups in order to select the whole group. I hope im making sense here. What I want is to be able to select the whole group from the global address list instead of having to go to all groups. Is there a way to to this in outlook 2003?
