Our Exchange 2000 upgrade went almost perfectly with the exception of a couple of nagging problems. One that we're encountering has stumped us completely.
We previously had a distribution list titled 'Everyone' that included everyone. After the upgrade, this list was not converted into a distribution group and is nowhere to be found in AD Users and Computers. In addition, when we attempt to create ad distribution group with the same title, we're told that we can't because another object with that name already exists. It's nowhere to be found!
We're native mode, before and after the upgrade and we've looked at everything that we can think of. Certain public folders that previously had the everyone group as members have been changed so that the list/group was removed.
Anyone have any ideas?

i assume youve tried doin a filtered find in AD Users and computers.

anotehr suggestion is to maybe export AD with ldifde.exe to view the contents in there...

im sure you've already gone to view|Advanced and searched for it also.

I wonder if because W2K has an "Everyone" group that it woudln't permit the migration?
