DIstributing CR10 report with Multiple db connections

I have Crystal 10 report that uses two db ODBC connections to mySQL databse. Report runs fine in the Crystal. But when I am loading this report to the Web App that we have It wont accept more then one ODBC connection and throws an error. Some of our developers who handles this part saying that our web app cant accept two connections. I am trying to prove them wrong. They are using php.
Does anybody know how to handle multiple ODBC connections outside the crystal in any type of web app?
