I'm pretty new to VBA but was told that it should address my problem.
I am designing a system whereby the Filename of an Office app is sent to a VB app and the file properties of that particular file are extrapolated.
I have code that sits as a macro within each of my Office apps that sends the filename to my Vb app but I will have a problem when I go to package and distribute my app.
The actual Vb app will not cause any trouble as I will just use the Package and Deloy option but how can I distribute the changes that I have made in each of the Office apps to the various users, i.e. I am changing the way that the default Office apps operate and I wish to transmit these changes to users in the form of an all inclusive app, whereby they will receive a diskette and install the program and then their Office apps will work the same as mine.
