Distributing a voicemail to everyone 1

Is there a way to record a message in a voicemail box and then send it to everyone in the company? I am running an IP500 on 5.0.8 and Voicemail Pro 5.0.21.

Put all users in a Group created purely for this called VMBroadcast or something select "Broadcast" in the groups VM settings, call or create a # VM collect shortcode to leave messages directly to that group...voila

P.s you will have to put the group into Night/Out of service to avoid actually ringing everyone if you choose to just dial the group....but you knew that anyway

LOL well I'm glad your not a firing squad!

I've done this before, and just un-tick all the members. That way, if you dial the hunt group extension number directly, nothing rings, just voice mail answers.

TouchToneTommy, it's quicker to just tick night/Out of service, you would also need to turn queueing off your way....it's just a little more work

You could also create and use a mailing list from a personal vm box.
