The docs state that you only need the SCAN lic on the home system where the group was created and not on the remote system where the distributed users sit.
Not correct, tech bulletin 80 states you need it on both systems.
A CQ is being raised to correct the docs.
If you only have the lic on the home system a collective distributed group does not work. Funnily a sequential distributed group does work with the lic on the home system only but who knows when this will be "fixed" so dont push it as only needing 1 lic. It needs one on each.
