Hi,

I use a Microsoft RichTextBox control on a form in Excel. It works fine for most users, but some users get an object error when trying to display the RichTextBox. I'm guessing the user's computer doesn't have this activeX control on their system. It's unknown what version Office they have.

How can I distribute this control, as well as other activeX controls as part of the Excel file ?

Thanks for any help,
Paul

I believe you need the Richtx32.ocx file. Place it on one of the computers that does not want to run the Excel file and register it.

Copy it to the system32 folder and at the command line enter "regsvr32 c:\Windows\system32\Richtx32.ocx"

(Assuming that is the path on that computer
