Hi

I have created an MS Project which has a Main Project File and a resource project file - i have created custom toolbars, menus and have macros running from it saved into the global.mpt.

When i move these to another machine and copy the global file i still can't see the macros and toolbars, what have i missed?

Thanks as always

N

Assuming you aren't talking about a Project Server environment, it sounds to me as if you've done the correct things.

Depending on a bunch of things, GLOBAL.MPT can end up in a variety of different locations. On each machine, do a search for copies of GLOBAL.MPT and delete them; open the Project file you copied; close it; repeat the search for Global.MPT. Now you know where to put the copy of Global.MPT that you created.

Hi

Not talking Server but the client has informed me that they dont have Project installed on there local machines so guessing that it's over something like citrix (gulp!)

Any ideas of what i should check?

Thanks

Never worked with Citrix -- don't think I can be of much help here. Sorry. (Is there a Citrix group here?)
