Distribute Java Application

Hello,

I've written a smallish Java application and I'm seeking a distribution method. Something the user can download that installs the application and creates a shortcut. I'm currently using WinZip but want a more robust installer. Any suggestions or links would be greatly appreciated.

check out java webstart from sun. it manages installed java apps with icons.
