Distorted Greetings after upgrade to 11.1.3.1 Build 34

I have a couple of sites that have recently upgraded to 11.1.3.1 and since then, when a user records a new greeting, the greeting is distorted. When I log in with win scp to the application server, I noticed that the new recordings are being saved as opus instead of .wav. Logged in with Putty and use opus for recordings is set to no in the settings.ini file. My question is, is there a way to have the greeting saved as a .wav file and if so where or what command would i use to change this?
