Distiller won't make PDF - error moving log file

Running Acrobat 6 on Mac OSX 10.2.8

Trying to create a PDF from a PS using Distiller.

Drop the file in the "IN" folder,
Distiller says everything is compliant,
moves it to the "OUT" folder,
in the scroll box, "an error occurred moving the log file"

in the "OUT" folder is the original PS file.

What and how to troubleshoot this?

What job settings are you using?

Could I look at the PostScript file? You can email it to me if you like. You can get my email address off my website.

You can turn off the option of creating LOG files, can't you? What happens if you do that?

We're troubleshooting now. We made the specs per DDAP to the virtual printer for PDF/x-1 for the PS file. We think that may have been the problem.

I'll post back with the results.
